Security operations at the Center

The SPC company responsible for security operations newly established a specialized security company for this project. This company is exclusively engaged in security management in the prison facilities and conducts its management in a manner rooted in the local community. Furthermore, using the know-how accumulated through long-term experience of the private security company and innovative security systems, the company makes absolutely sure the security of the Center.

Medical care

We consign the management and the operation of a clinic established by the national government to the Medical Foundation Nakayamakai Utsunomiya Memorial Hospital in order to establish a medical system to ensure stable services.

General health checkups are carried out by local medical institutions, and the results are statistically analyzed to grasp overall health conditions and medical trends of inmates over time as well as to be utilized as references for on-going daily treatment and medical care.

Special Unit

There is a block of "Special Units" in the Center to house physically or mentally disabled inmates. The aim is to improve social adaptability and physical functions, stimulate a willingness to rehabilitate and promote smooth rehabilitation by providing occupational therapy, rehabilitation and other special programs.
